About Joan Ryan
Joan has been practicing Reiki for over 12 years. She was taught and continues to be mentored by Gail Greenfield in the Usui Shiki Ryoho tradition. She became a master teacher in 2004 after several years' apprenticeship. She has been blessed with the opportunity to help children, adults and those transiting from this life using the healing energy of Reiki. .Joan has also trained in other energy healing modalities including therpaeutic touch.
About Jim Ryan
Jim was trained by Joan and is mentored by Joan and Gail Greenfield in the Usui Shiki Ryoho Tradition. Jim strated practicing Reiki In 2005. He became a Reiki Master and teacher in 2009. Jim works with Reiki in his medical hypnosis practice and has had the privledge of working with individuals from 12-85 years old.
As experienced practitioners for many years Joan and Jim offer Reiki Treatments and uses Reiki in their Radiant Wellness Yoga Therapy and Radiant Wellness Hynposis Institute practices. They also offers many other therapies such as Integrative Yoga, Hypnosis, Ayurveda-lifesyle coaching, Stress Management, Meditation and Guided Imagery techniques.
Joan and Jim firmly believe that by reducing stress, bringing peace, , and bringing control and balance to a person, Reiki can change lives.

Reiki Level One
The first Reiki level is hands on and is for physical and emotional balance leading to personal development. Can be used on yourself, with family friends and animals.
You will learn:
Reiki for Animals and Reiki Level One
Includes all of Reiki Level I training above
Plus in depth learning on how to offer various different animals Reiki Treatments
Reiki Level Two
(Pre-requisite: Reiki I)
Participants will begin by reviewing Reiki I. The Reiki Level II Attunement further opens the Crown Chakra. This increases your healing energy and gives you the abliity to channel absent/distance healing; (being able to send energy for the highest healing good) to a person, animal, place or situation.This class teaches three ancient, powerful, healing symbols. Highly effective, these symbols support healing and expansion in all areas of life, both for yourself and others. Participants will practice methods of working energetically with mental and emotional states.The techniques of Beaming and body scanning is also taught. There will be practice of distant healing as performed by a single practioneer and then adding the power of a group by creating a healing chain. Finally the power of the group is used in the hands on healing of a single person.
Reiki Level Three
(Pre-Requisites: Reiki I and II)
In this training you will:
· Be given the Reiki Master Teacher Attunement and learn how to give the attunements to others for all three levels.
· Learn the Reiki Master Symbol, how to draw it and how to use it for healing yourself and others.
· Review all of Reiki Level I Training and practice it so you feel comfortable and be capable of teaching it.
· Review all of Reiki Level II training and practice it so you feel comfortable and be capable of teaching it.
You will do a Reiki Treatment on one another.
· Learn the values and spiritual orientation of a true Reiki Master.

- Basic understanding of Reiki and the History
- Go through 4 Levels of Attunement
- Using the traditional hand positions you will give and receive a Reiki Treatment
- Learn self treatment Reiki hand positions and do self treatment
- At the end you will be a Reiki Level I Practitioner and will receive a certificate.
